Asia Vietnam – An international joint undergraduate program between FPT University and Asia University, Taiwan (China) – ranked Top 401–500 globally (THE, 2025).

The program structure includes 50% of study time in Vietnam and 50% in Taiwan. All curriculum, materials, and training processes are directly transferred from Asia University and meet international standards.

Graduates will be awarded an international Bachelor's Degree in Semiconductor Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, or Finance directly from Asia University – ranked Top 401–500 best universities worldwide. Notably, Technology and Business programs are ranked Top 201–250 and Top 176–200 globally (THE, 2025) and accredited by the prestigious AACSB.

Students will benefit from research support through Taiwan's leading semiconductor centers such as TSRI, ITRI, and NARLabs. ACADEMIC PROGRAM

Asia Vietnam offers an internationally standardized study pathway, combining academic knowledge with practical experience. Students will complete the first two years in Vietnam, and transfer to Asia University in Taiwan for the final two years to continue their studies and participate in internships at leading enterprises and research institutes.

Graduates will be awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Semiconductor Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, or Finance issued by Asia University (Taiwan).

Với sự hỗ trợ và đầu tư đặc biệt từ Tập đoàn FPT và Asia University Đài Loan vào phát triển công nghệ mũi nhọn ưu tiên, các thí sinh nhập học ngành Công nghệ bán dẫn sẽ có những học bổng ưu đãi đặc biệt lên đến 70% học phí.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Asia Vietnam welcomes students who aspire to prepare for a successful career in a global environment and the technology industry.

ADMISSION CRITERIA

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

(mandatory)

Applicants must graduate from high school in 2025 or have graduated in previous years, with a minimum Grade 12 GPA of 6.5 (on a 10-point scale).

PREFERRED CANDIDATES

Students with English proficiency equivalent to Level 4/6 of the Vietnamese Ministry of Education (or IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 61, or equivalent certificates) will be eligible to directly enter the major program, helping shorten the study duration.

Applicants without English certificates will participate in the Global Citizen program in the first year — focusing on improving English proficiency and academic skills for success in an international learning environment, laying a solid foundation for the specialized phase.

Đánh giá năng lực

  • Thí sinh được tham gia thêm bài test đánh giá về nguyện vọng học tập, các kỹ năng thế mạnh để phù hợp với lĩnh vực và ngành nghề học tập.
  • Thư mời tham gia vòng đánh giá năng lực sẽ được gửi cho thí sinh qua email trước ngày thi.

FOUNDATION AND ENGLISH TRAINING STAGE

Students will be trained in English to meet the academic language standards required by Asia University and to study 100% of the program in English. Students are required to achieve at least Level 4/6 of the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training’s foreign language framework, equivalent to IELTS 5.5 (or other equivalent certificates).

In addition to English training, students will also be equipped with essential foundational knowledge, including computing, algorithms, and global citizenship skills.

MAJOR TRAINING IN VIETNAM

After meeting the English language entry requirements, students will begin studying the official major program from Asia University while based in Vietnam. The academic system, learning materials, and requirements are identical to those of students studying on campus in Taiwan.

In addition, students are required to complete Chinese language courses from Level 1 to Level 3 to ensure their ability to communicate and study effectively while in Taiwan.

MAJOR TRAINING AND WORKING IN TAIWAN

To ensure international exposure and access to advanced technology, 100% of students will transfer to Asia University in Taiwan for 1–2 years of study.

The program in Taiwan includes intensive specialized courses combined with practical training using modern technology, enabling students to acquire both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in their chosen field.

During this stage, students will also be connected with businesses for internships and receive support to integrate into Taiwanese life and culture. This practical experience helps students secure employment in Taiwan or pursue global career opportunities upon graduation.
